I was diagnosed with leukaemia at 16. The leukaemia also attacked my eyes leaving me blind, however, one eye has improved slightly (yay) leaving me registered partially sighted. I underwent intensive chemotherapy leaving me weak and constantly tired and even having to learn to walk again. I am still undergoing treatment for all the side effects and after effects of the chemo but starting to get back to normality. My sisters have been a massive support throughout my treatment so The Willow Fondation has kindly made a special day not only for me, but for all my sisters and I can't thank them enough for this wonderful opportunity!
